TW: sa, mentions of ch!ld p0rn0grahpy. one of my best friends has been s3xually @ssulted by her stepdad from the age of 8. her mother knew but continued to date this man and pay no attention to the fact he constantly s3xually @ssulted her daughter. she finally came out about it and got the police involved. they launched the case and looked for evidence, and they couldn’t get anything out of him. he is old and has dementia or some sh!t and pretends that he doesn’t remember s3xually @ssulting her, even tho he talks about what he did to her all the time (just to her, not to anyone else). her own mother (who is on her stepdads side) falsely accused her of doing ch!ld p0rn0graphy, so the police searched her phone and every single photo she has ever taken (even the deleted ones) and found nothing, as she was falsely accused. anyways, not enough evidence was found about him s3xually @ssulting her so they temporarily dropped the case. her mother then moved to her side apparently and now her stepdad is locked in the basement (he’s not being abused or anything, he’s being well taken care of) and isn’t allowed to see her daughters. today the police are searching again. last time they only searched through the photos that have been saved on her phone, but this time they’re searching through all the things she sent on snap. why is this important? she sent a photo to her cousin once, not realizing that in the corner of the photo, there was her stepdad s3xually @ssulting her. so there is proof that he did it now. i am so happy for her and that she will finally get the justice she deserves
