when my cousin was about 4 and i was 11 or so i had him like my genitals. (i'm a girl btw). i was just curious and didn't think it was bad or anything. after that, he said "my mom made me do that once too." i was shocked. i didn't tell anyone and i told him not to tell anyone about either situation. i still think about it to this day and wonder if he still remembers. he's nearly 10 so i am hoping he forgot about both incidents. poor kid.

I was sexually abused, I can remember as far back as 4 years old and it finally ended when they left home. I was 12. They were my step-cousins. I dreaded having to go to sleep for school 8:30pm every night, once that door closed I knew what was going to happen. They'd do everything to me and told me if I ever told anyone they'd kill me. 13 years on and I finally found the courage to forgive them, not for them but for me. It was liberating.

I just recently became friends with my ex. We weren’t friends for around 6 months before this and the break up had ended very poorly (he had emotionally cheated on me). During those 6 months I always talked to my friends about how much I hated his guys and never ever wanted to speak to him again. Thing is, I have Borderline Personality Disorder. So I let my emotions control me more than logic (in this case, not in the disorder as a whole). I didn’t really want to never speak to him. But It was so much easier to be angry than sad about it. Now, None of my friends understand how close we are. And it’s hard to admit that I was mainly the “crazy” one in the relationship. That I definitely exaggerated the things he did. And that he’s really not a bad person, he was just stupid and made a mistake(Which he has apologized for countless times). We both wish we could turn back time and not hurt each other. We’re super duper close now and I wouldn’t be alive without him. He’s seriously my bestfriend. How do I explain to my friends that were just meant to be?? Couple or not were amazing for each other, and have always helped each other out.

When I was about 13 my close friend had got heavily addicted to methamphetamine. and would go out for days staying out on the street with the other addicts our age and older. I knew how dangerous it was out there especially for her to be a underage female out on the street and I knew there was nothing I could say to stop her. So every night she was out sleeping on the street I would too, duck, dodge and out run the police with her, when she didn’t have enough money to buy I would help and we could scrimp up every penny we could, we’d go around in stolen cars and stay in abandoned houses, crash at a strangers place. For about a year I helped feed her addiction, and I watched it eat and take over her. Change her into a different person. Im fortunate enough to not have gotten addicted to such a thing, but there’s been times I’ve slipped up and if it wasn’t for my friend I would’ve done. When she first got sober it was hard to quit hanging around the streets. I stayed around a bit longer than she did. She would tell our old friends if they ever seen me out in on the street take me to their house. My great grandmother was around 92 years old when she passed away. Throughout my life I have seen her a lot since she lives relatively close (about 20-30 mins away). I moved away to florida for college in 2020. Fall of my freshman year in college covid was huge and my great grandmother wasn’t doing too well. Spring rolled around and my great grandmother had beaten covid and pneumonia. She was a very strong woman. I was about a month away from being home when she was put in the hospital again for covid symptoms. Everything seemed to be fine with her health but my mom asked me to facetime her cause she missed me. I facetimed her later that night and promised her I would see her in a month. She passed away about a week later while I was on spring break. It was slightly unexpected given her age and health condition. I was at the bar with my friends. Safe to say it changed my night around really fast. I was 3 hours away from my school with friends for spring break. My parents didn’t want to fly me all the way up the next day for the funeral and ruin the rest of my vacation because it was a decent amount of money to fly on such short notice. I watched the funeral from a room at my friends beach house. I couldn’t help but cry because of how awful I felt that I couldn’t be there. My regret isn’t that I wasn’t able to say bye. My regret is all the times I could’ve gone over there when i got older and had a car and chose not to because she lived so close and I thought I saw her enough with my family. When I got back home for summer break I went to her grave to honor the last promise I made to her. Just wish I could’ve did it in person.

When I was younger my older brother and i had a tree house and i wanted to go and hang out with him. So I went up and found him and my younger brother together. We were hanging out and then they had an arm wrestling match and the loser had to show the other their private areas. They did this all the time. I tried to leave but they didn't let me. My mom had left to go to the store so it was me, my older brother (12), and my younger Brother (5). My older brother lost and pulled his pants down. After that We went inside to watch tv but my older brother wanted to do something else. So we went to my room and he made me take all my clothes off. He wanted to see what girls looked like. He didn't touch me but it was still traumatizing. I ended up crying and told him I'd tell mom. He said sorry and gave me some money and told me not to tell anyone. I never told any one I'm know 15 and hes 19. We have never spoken about it since and I never told a soul
